325 Seventh Street, an urban infill mixed-use development, has been approved for 380 residential units and 9,000 square feet of street-front retail in a 26-story mixed-use tower at the heart of downtown Oakland. This fully-entitled project occupies a prime location at the intersection of four dynamic neighborhoods—Downtown Civic Center, Chinatown, Jack London Square, and Lake Merritt—maximizing urban density on just 0.81 acres.
The development exemplifies transit-oriented design with immediate access to two BART stations (12th Street and Lake Merritt), providing direct connectivity to San Francisco and the broader Bay Area, while also offering convenient access to the Oakland Ferry Terminal and Interstate 880.
The project features a thoughtful mix of studio and larger 2+ and 3-bedroom units integrated with retail space to create a vibrant mixed-use environment.
The Principals of Rivercrest Partners, while at Brookwood Group, served as trusted development advisors throughout the project, providing expertise in residential and mixed-use design, project planning, public agency coordination, and implementation strategy. Their hands-on guidance helped navigate Oakland's complex regulatory environment to advance this urban infill project—adding significant residential density to one of Oakland's most transit-accessible locations.
