Davis Joint Unified School District Workforce Housing

Rivercrest Partners is partnering with Davis Joint Unified School District and UCLA CityLab to develop a groundbreaking workforce housing project that will serve as a model for the next generation of California education workforce housing initiatives. This innovative collaboration combines our proven feasibility and due diligence expertise with UCLA CityLab's leadership in California workforce housing research and development.

The project involves comprehensive analysis of a district-owned site identified for potential sale or value-added entitlement and reinvestment into workforce housing development.

Through strategic site optimization, the district will unlock additional value from their underutilized property to help fund up to 200 units of workforce housing on an existing school site. Our team is conducting full feasibility analysis, funding strategy development, and due diligence to help the district understand their complete range of options for this transformative project.

The proposed development will feature diverse building typologies thoughtfully designed to respond to both neighborhood character and district employee needs, creating housing solutions that attract and retain quality educators while demonstrating innovative approaches to education workforce housing that other California districts can replicate.
