Alex Weinberg is a Development Manager at Rivercrest Partners where he assists the firm’s clients with a range of real estate development activities. He is currently engaged in feasibility studies with Calistoga Joint Unified School District and Novato Unified School District.  

Alex’s real estate experience is focused on the financing and development of multifamily housing in California. He has expertise in investment due diligence, deal structuring and public-private partnerships, and project management.

While earning his MBA at UC Berkeley, Alex was a Fellow at Terner Housing Innovation Labs where he led the annual selection process of the Housing Venture Lab, an accelerator program for early-stage ventures advancing housing affordability. He also worked as a Real Estate Acquisitions & Investments Analyst at New York-based Jonathan Rose Companies, where he underwrote investments in the preservation and rehabilitation of affordable housing including LIHTC and Section 8 properties.   

Prior to his focus on housing, Alex was a Consultant at Bain & Company in San Francisco where he worked with clients across the private and social sectors.  His work included strategic advisory services, portfolio analysis, and investment due diligence for a range of corporate firms and nonprofit organizations.
